Art Studio
The client was using this space as storage. Then she started getting studio visit requests, so she called me.
Vision: To spend more time making, and less time moving things out of the way. The space needs to be safe and welcoming to visitors.
The client is a multi-media artist, so the space is set up with a “home base” in the middle and specialty spaces circling around it.
This is the sewing space.
The client wanted easy access to frequently used areas of her space. Stuff was getting in the way and causing safety hazards.
She didn't want to organize the tedious stuff, so I did it. Ribbons, threads, scissors, containers...
We sorted and labeled based on the function of items, and what made sense to her (wms).

We had emptied the black container earlier, and discovered that it fit perfectly as a higher level for the ribbons! #Manifested!
Ahhh! Room to move. The whole studio is set up in Order of Operations. Items on the shelves are set up by frequency of use, with heavy items at hip level for safe lifting. Plenty of negative space to pull out the chair, and walk around without moving things.
